Batr'Gamall Roleplay

Batr'Gamall is a unique Ark unlike any other. This Ark is different due to a fatal glitch, and did not recede when the Arks landed back on Earth; instead it simply vanished out of Earth's orbit and possibly time, reality, or space itself.

When the Ark was programmed to return, it did not obey. It simply teleported away to some unknown place by the ‘Controllers’, who may or may not have gone completely and utterly bonkers, due to the arrival of Element growing inside the Ark. 

This strange anomaly began when Element started forming inside of the Volcano. Exposure to this specific Element can cause strange things to happen, madness is most often the first side effect, as well as corruption of the flesh and bones of living organisms.

Element is terribly dangerous if not handled with extreme care and because of the hazards it holds, only it’s shards have been safely harvested and tested, and have been found to be useful in powering the ‘Box of Thunder’ as the local inhabitants tend to call the contraption they received as a gift from the Gods, ie ‘Controllers’. 

The Ark holds creatures and spirits from varying myths and legends, mostly those from Norse and Viking mythology, but from other histories and stories as well. It is speculated in certain circles the ‘Controllers’ collected each lifeform in order to keep them safe, monitor, track, research, or even to experiment on them.

Batr’Gamall is a beautiful, albeit harsh land. The temperatures remain mostly cold to freezing. It is a smattering of isles which hold a variety of flora, fauna, different races of people, and caves and ruins to explore.

The people here arrived in various ways. Some shipwrecked, others simply awoke to find themselves here.. Others, well they swear they’ve been here all along.
